New Specification Sales Manager for London

With over 25 years’ experience in the water handling industry leading on from an engineering degree, Paul is well placed to support specifications in the commercial and public health markets.

“It’s about persuading people to try something new” is how he summarises both the challenge and the opportunity.

“It’s too easy to specify a product or an installation method because “that’s the way it’s always been done. Right now, faced with such big challenges about cost, liability and labour shortages, specifiers and contractors are looking for new solutions. I’m convinced that Viega has the answers.”

Paul joined Viega in March, but his first eight weeks were taken up with the kind of immersive induction process that typifies the stringent quality across the Viega organisation.

“I’ve visited hospitals and prefabrication factories, commercial buildings and schools as well as the mind-blowing Viega World in Germany. It’s been a revelation to see the depth and quality of the expertise behind the systems marketed here in the UK.”

A familiar figure around the Society of Public Health Engineers, Paul is most comfortable working on large commercial and public sector projects. “I’ve spent 25 years figuring out how to get water out of buildings and now I’m focusing on how to get it in” he says.
