Viega UK Prize Draw: Sign-Up & Win! Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By participating in this prize draw, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. The Promoter: The promoter of this prize draw is Viega Ltd, Palmerston House, 814 Brighton Road, Purley, Surrey, CR8 2BR ("Viega UK").

2. Eligibility:

   • This prize draw is open only to residents of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) aged 18 years or over.
   • Participants must be employed by a business or organisation operating within the plumbing, heating, mechanical, or related construction sectors, and be signing up in their professional capacity.
   • Employees of Viega UK, their immediate families, and anyone professionally connected with this prize draw (e.g., agents or suppliers) are not eligible to enter.

3. Campaign Period:

   • The prize draw is open for entries from 15th June 2026 at 00:01 BST until 30th September 2026 at 23:59 BST (the "Campaign Period").
   • Entries received outside the Campaign Period will not be accepted.

4. How to Enter:

   • To enter the prize draw, participants must visit the specified landing page (via QR code on direct mailers, links on social media posts, or other digital advertisements) and successfully sign up to receive digital communications (e.g., newsletters, product updates, promotional offers) from Viega UK.
   • Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will be disqualified.
   • There is no purchase necessary to enter the prize draw. Standard internet connection charges may apply.

5. The Prize:

   • One (1) winner will receive a prize package consisting of one (1) Viega Pressgun 6 Plus and one (1) jaw set compatible with the Pressgun 6 Plus (specific jaw set to be determined by Viega UK).
   • The prize is as stated and is non-transferable.
   • There is no cash alternative to the prize, and Viega UK reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.

6. Winner Selection:

   • The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the Campaign Period.
   • The random draw will be conducted by an independent third party or by a computer process that produces verifiably random results, within 14 days of the close of the Campaign Period.
   • The decision of Viega UK is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Winner Notification:

   • The winner will be notified by email and/or telephone (using the contact details provided during sign-up) within 7 days of the draw date.
   • The winner must respond to the notification within 14 days to claim their prize.
   • If a winner fails to respond within this timeframe, or if the prize is declined, Viega UK reserves the right to withdraw the prize from that winner and select a replacement winner via a further random draw.

8. Prize Fulfilment:

   • Once confirmed, the prize will be dispatched to the winner's confirmed business address within 28 days of the winner claiming their prize.
   • Viega UK is not responsible for any prize that is lost, stolen, or damaged after it has been dispatched.

9. Publicity:

   • By accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Viega UK may use their name, company name, and general location (e.g., county or region) for promotional purposes related to this prize draw, including on Viega UK's website and social media channels.
   • The winner may be asked, but is not obliged, to participate in further publicity.

10. Data Protection (UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018):

    • By entering this prize draw, participants consent to Viega UK collecting and processing their personal data (including name, company name, email address, and telephone number) for the purposes of administering the prize draw, selecting and notifying the winner, and fulfilling the prize.
    • By signing up for digital communications, participants explicitly consent to receive marketing emails and other electronic communications from Viega UK. Participants can unsubscribe from these communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email they receive.
    • All personal data will be processed in accordance with Viega UK's Privacy Policy, which can be found at [Insert Link to Viega UK Privacy Policy]. We will not share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

11. General Conditions:

    • Viega UK reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions or if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the entrant has acted fraudulently or dishonestly.
    • Viega UK reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the prize draw or these terms and conditions at any time, for any reason, without prior notice, if deemed necessary due to circumstances beyond its control (e.g., technical issues, unforeseen events). Any such changes will be posted on the Viega UK website.
    • Viega UK accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, or incomplete due to technical fault, computer error, or any other reason.
    • This prize draw is not a lottery and is free to enter (beyond the cost of internet access). It has been designed to comply with UK advertising and gambling regulations.

12. Responsibility for Prize Use & Training:

    • The winner and/or their employer are solely responsible for ensuring that any individual operating the Viega Pressgun 6 Plus and jaw set is adequately trained, competent, and adheres to all manufacturer's instructions, safety guidelines, and relevant industry regulations for its safe use. Viega UK shall not be liable for any injury, damage, or loss arising from the misuse of the prize or the failure to ensure proper training and competence of the operator.

13. Tax Implications:

    • The winner and/or their employer are responsible for any tax liabilities (including but not limited to income tax and National Insurance contributions) that may arise from the acceptance of the prize. Viega UK recommends that winners seek independent professional advice regarding the tax implications of receiving the prize.

14. Recipient Company Policies:

    • Viega UK advises the winner to check their employer's policies regarding the acceptance of gifts or prizes prior to claiming the prize. Viega UK accepts no responsibility if a winner is unable to accept the prize due to their employer's policies, and no alternative prize will be offered in such circumstances.

15. Governing Law:

    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
